MOHAMED FA'EEK AHMAD
Managing Director
Mr. Fa'eek started his career with few a commercial banks and financial institutions for about 9 years before moving on to Telekom Malaysia (TM) where he spent close to 20 years.
He holds a Bachelor of Management (Hon) from Multimedia University Cyberjaya, Diploma in Banking Studies from University Technology of MARA Shah Alam and Certificate of Law from the International Islamic University Kuala Lumpur. He is a HRDF Certified Train-the-Trainer, KPMG-Trained Risk Trainer, Petronas Certified ERM Train-the-Trainer and Prasarana Associate Trainer. He is a Certified International Professional Manager from The International Professional Managers Association of UK and a member of the Business Continuity Institute, UK.
He currently sits as a member of the Board Audit Risk Committee of a Government-Linked Agency.
He was a member of the government of Malaysia working committee on the development of the ICT Security Risk Assessment Framework (MyRAM) under MAMPU at the Prime Minister's Department. He had a short stint at the Economic Planning Unit (PFI Division) of the PM's Department conducting risk assessment on high impact Private Funding Initiatives (PFI) projects for the Malaysian Government under the 9th Malaysian Plan.
His vast working experience includes, amongst others, Loan Supervision, Loan Processing, Credit Controller, Debt Recovery, Cash Flow Management, Treasury, Corporate Sales, Business Controller, Risk Management, Marketing Director and Chief Financial Officer. He was assigned to Sri Lanka and South Africa during his tenure of employment with TM.
His greatest achievement was during his tenure at TM where he was instrumental in the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) within the TM group of companies; locally and overseas. He was also contracted to implement ERM within Petronas ICT Sdn Bhd (previously known as iPerintis Sdn Bhd). Apart from the above, he had also successfully assisted three local universities, namely Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM) in the implementation of ERM at university level. Other clients include GIAD Industrial Group of Sudan and Pertubuhan Peladang Kebangsaan (NAFAS).

Faiz has 28 years of diverse industry experiences from Information Technology to Banking and to Oil and Gas industry having started his career as System Engineer with Mesiniaga IBM for 2 years in 1986 before moving on to Bank of Commerce as Head of PC Support for 5 years in 1988.
Thereafter, from 1993 he joined PETRONAS Group of Companies having served at various divisions and departments such as Group Information Resource Management, Business Improvement Process, Corporate Development Unit, PETRONAS Holding; Capability Development, Integrated Production Planning and North Sabah EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery) Project Joint Venture Malaysia at PETRONAS Carigali. He was seconded for 5 years Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company (GNPOC), Khartoum, Sudan as Head of Business Planning. His last assignment prior to his retirement earlier this year was as Head of Integrated Program Management for North Sabah EOR.
During the 28 glorious years, he has acquired extensive skills in Business Reengineering / Reintegration / Reshaping; Organizational Design and Development; Business Planning; Programming mid-size database application with good understanding of IT infrastructure such as differences between distributed and centralized computing and Local Area Networking.
He was responsible in developing the Business Improvement Methodology currently adopted by PETRONAS. Other skills acquired include staff coaching and development, facilitation skill as well as management trainer and consulting and managing top level clients. He has conducted more than 30 of workshops using a technique called TOP †Technology of Participation.
